Nightingale — Overview
Nightingale is Inflexion Games' Gaslamp-fantasy survival crafting game where players — called Realmwalkers — craft Realm Cards to open portals into procedurally generated Fae realms. There are 3 card types (Biome, Major, Minor) selectable at Portal Machines, with over 60 total cards controlling biome, difficulty, NPC factions, and points of interest. There's no fixed class system — players build toward familiar archetypes purely through weapon, skill, and equipment choices. Three tough, mostly-peaceful Apex Creatures act as the game's world bosses. It left Early Access in 2025 and has continued adding realm and story content since its full release.
