SSD is mandatory, not just recommended -- the game will not install or run properly on a traditional hard drive. A DirectX 12 compatible GPU is required, excluding older cards like the GTX 900 series. A lower-end 1080p/30fps Performance mode target is also confirmed, achievable with an i5-8400/Ryzen 3 3300X paired with a GTX 1060 (6GB), RX Vega 56 (8GB), or Arc A750 (8GB) -- a genuine concession for players below the standard minimum GPU tier. For a higher 1080p/60fps Quality mode, an i7-10700K/Ryzen 5 5600G paired with an RTX 3060 Ti (8GB) or RX 6800 (16GB) is recommended. Steam Deck is officially unsupported at launch.
