HITHURT Wiki - FAQ
How does the HIT and HURT mechanic work?
Each player controls two characters simultaneously: a HIT, which deals damage and is invincible, and a HURT, which can take damage. Winning requires splitting your attention -- pursuing your opponent with your HIT while keeping your own HURT safe.
Is this an online multiplayer game?
No -- it's confirmed as a local couch versus game specifically for two players in the same location.
How many maps are there?
9 confirmed at launch, each with a unique layout and gimmick (saw blades, bounce pads, moving blocks), with more planned for the future.
Can I interact with my opponent's HIT directly?
Yes -- you can hit your opponent's HIT around with your own HIT, blocking them or knocking them into a hazard, adding a real extra layer of strategy.
How much does it cost?
$2.99 at full price on Steam.
Who developed HITHURT?
Solo developer beanesque, who also self-published the game.
