HITHURT Wiki
HITHURT is a local 1v1 couch versus party game from solo developer beanesque, self-published on PC via Steam for $2.99, released July 1, 2026.
The Premise
Each player controls two independent characters at once: your HIT, which deals damage and is invincible, and your HURT, which can take damage. To win, you need to genuinely split your attention -- pursuing your opponent with your HIT while keeping your own HURT safely out of reach. It's a real, distinctive twist on local versus games, testing divided attention as much as reflexes.
Physics and Map Variety
Slight ice physics and bouncy walls make sharp, precise movement genuinely important for both offense and defense. With 9 unique maps confirmed at launch (and more planned), each with its own layout and gimmicks -- deadly saw blades, bounce pads, moving blocks -- strategies genuinely vary from round to round rather than settling into one dominant approach.
A Real Layer of Mind Games
You can even use your own HIT to knock your opponent's HIT around, blocking them or knocking them directly into a hazard -- a confirmed additional layer of strategy beyond the core HIT-versus-HURT chase.
