Hellbound, Inc. Wiki
Hellbound, Inc. is a 2D precision rage-platformer and darkly comedic corporate-hell satire, the debut collaboration between Mexico-based studio Templo and its U.S. sibling studio Rewilder, set for release on PC via Steam on August 11, 2026.
The Premise
You play an undead courier trapped in a fulfillment center recently acquired by Satan himself -- the newest hire at Hell's most infernal logistics startup, delivering cursed packages across treacherous warehouse zones while dodging traps and solving devilish puzzles. In Hell, missing a delivery deadline means eternal damnation. Again. Fortunately, you're already undead, so instant respawns keep the pace fast as you retry and learn each delivery route.
Eight Circles of Corporate Hell
Inspired directly by Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy, the game takes players through 8 infernal circles of corporate torment, from Limbo to Pride, each reimagined as a dysfunctional department within a hellish organization. Every circle is confirmed as a structurally distinct zone with its own named department, its own hub area for interacting with bizarre NPC coworkers, its own hazard set, and its own original soundtrack theme -- adding up to 47 total levels of finely tuned delivery puzzles testing timing, problem-solving, and reflexes.
A Genuine Industry Pedigree
Though this marks the team's first release together, Hellbound Inc. is led by Studio Lead Pradip Romay, a Cannes Gold Lion winner, alongside industry veterans Antonio "Fayer" Uribe (known for Arco & Pancito Merge) and Abe Morales (former Game Director at HyperBeard, solo developer of Doki Duck Farm and Frogue). Ahead of launch, the game already won Best Game in Development at Mexico's Pixelatl Festival in September 2025 -- described as one of Latin America's most important celebrations of animation, video games, and comics.
Real Community Engagement
The game participated in Steam Next Fest in both February/March and again in March 2026, where a community challenge called the "25/25/25 Hellbound Challenge" ran for players who completed the demo under specific conditions. Studio Lead Pradip Romay has spoken directly about the game's emotional core: the satisfying moment when frustration turns into mastery after overcoming an obstacle that once seemed impossible.
