Is there multiplayer?
No -- this is confirmed as a single-player-only game. Ubisoft has stated the team is fully focused on delivering the best possible solo experience, with no multiplayer mode included.
Can I still use the Hidden Blade in combat?
Not in open combat -- this is a real, deliberate change from the original. The Hidden Blade is now restricted to stealth takedowns and contextual kills, with swords serving as the primary combat weapon in the reworked, more parry-driven system.
What's included in each edition?
Standard includes the base game. Deluxe adds the Master Assassin Character Pack and Master Assassin Naval Pack. Collector's Edition includes everything in Deluxe plus physical items: an Edward Kenway figurine, a wearable metal brooch, an exclusive SteelBook, and a cloth map. Pre-ordering any edition grants the Blackbeard's Crimson Pack (an exclusive costume, sword, and pistol for Edward).
