How Talismans Work in Rubinite

Talismans are Rubinite's main build customization tool — craftable charms bought from Wichiwi at the Cathedral hub using Blood Dust, each adjusting your Focus or dodge comfort with a tradeoff attached.

Blood Dust comes from mid-fight breakthroughs, destroying objects, and general boss progress, and crucially survives even a loss — reaching half health on a boss still funds your next craft.

For new players, defensive Talismans like damage-reduction shields are usually a stronger first purchase than offensive ones, since they buy you room to learn a boss's patterns without dying as fast.
