Is this available on PC or other consoles?

No -- OBAKEIDORO 2: Chase & Seek is confirmed exclusive to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Unlike the original Obakeidoro!, which later got a PC release via Konami (as Bail or Jail), no PC or other-console version of this sequel has been announced.

Has this game already been released somewhere?

Yes -- it launched in Japan for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 9, 2025 (with a physical version following December 18, 2025). August 6, 2026 marks its full worldwide release, and its first-ever appearance on the original Nintendo Switch.

How many players can play at once?

Up to 8 players, whether online or in Local Party mode across multiple Switch systems. Split-Screen mode supports up to 4 players sharing a single system.

What's the win condition for each team?

Humans (teams of 3 or 6) win if at least one player remains free and uncaught when the 3-minute timer expires. Monsters (1 or 2 players) win only if every single Human is caught before time runs out.

Can friends play without owning the game?

Yes -- Nintendo Switch 2's GameShare feature lets friends join a match directly from an owner's system without needing their own copy.
