Moonlight Peaks

Moonlight Peaks Wiki - FAQ

How many romanceable characters are there, and can I date more than one at once?

23 confirmed at launch, across six families (mermaids, witches, werewolves, vampires, humans, seers) plus two wildcards (Death and Llemi, a love demon). You can date multiple candidates simultaneously -- only proposing marriage to one freezes your other relationships.

Does the game have children after marriage?

No -- there are no children in Moonlight Peaks, confirmed with no announced plans to add them. Marrying a character who already has kids, like Orlock (father to Mina and Evan), reportedly makes you a step-parent instead.

Is romance limited by gender?

No -- character models are deliberately gender-neutral, so every one of the 23 romance options is available regardless of how you build your own vampire character.

What platforms is it on, and did they all launch together?

PC (Steam), Mac, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Android all launched simultaneously on July 7, 2026 -- an unusually broad, coordinated launch for an indie life-sim. Note that Switch versions specifically arrive two days later (July 9) in Japan and the wider Asia region.

What's the difference between the standard edition and the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition?

The Switch 2 Edition ($39.99) is a genuinely distinct release with higher-resolution assets and smoother frame rates, not just a pricier re-listing of the same build as the $34.99 standard PC/original Switch version. A physical Switch 2 Edition also releases in Europe on August 28, 2026 with a collectible sticker sheet and digital soundtrack.

Is there a free demo?

Yes -- available on Steam and the Nintendo eShop. It lets you try character creation and early activities like fishing, flower arranging, and embroidery, plus early townsfolk interactions. Demo progress does not transfer to the full game.

How many achievements does the game have?

59 Steam Achievements are confirmed on the Steam version.
