Is Manor Lords finished?
No — it remains in Early Access (v0.8.x as of the latest update), with major content updates roughly every 3-4 months.
How do I expand my territory?
By claiming adjacent regions using Influence, which takes a full in-game month and costs more (2,000 Influence, plus war) if another lord already controls that region.
What's the difference between Militia and Retinue?
Militia are free, low-morale troops raised from your population during emergencies; Retinue are permanent, professional soldiers that cost ongoing food and pay but are always ready for combat.
Can I customize my Retinue troops?
Yes -- each Retinue soldier can individually have their colors customized and their armor upgraded, at a cost of 34 gold if the upgrade is imported or 17 gold if bought locally from your Treasury.
