Ledgerbound

Ledgerbound Wiki

Ledgerbound is a comedic, narrative-driven tactical RPG from OmniMegaSuperCorp -- a studio founded by former Helldivers 2 developers, including that game's former Narrative Director -- set for release on PC via Steam on August 11, 2026, following a delay from an originally planned July 14 launch "to bring players the best possible version of the game."

The Premise

You play Rayna, an insurance adjuster whose routine corporate career takes a sudden turn when a world-shattering disaster forces her into the role of a company-sponsored Hero. Set in Eldarra, a fantasy kingdom where corporate bureaucracy shapes everything from combat to relationships, the world may end, but more importantly: your job is on the line. Rayna must go head-to-head against an immortal foe threatening life as she knows it, all while somehow keeping her employer satisfied.

Tactics, Romance, and Corporate Satire

Combat uses a Rock-Paper-Scissors-style system layered onto party-based turn-based tactics, while company vouchers earned along the way can be traded for stat-boosting corporate swag. Beyond the battlefield, you recruit a ragtag party of coworkers, deepen relationships with them over time, and pursue HR-approved romance options -- with every choice and decision confirmed to stick with you permanently once made.

A Genuinely Notable Voice Cast

The game features a real, notable voice cast including Matthew Mercer and Ben Starr, alongside Caitlyn Elizabeth, Gabriel Michael, and Jeff Leach, bringing the fully voice-acted story and its cast of coworkers-turned-companions to life. Confirmed named characters include Hat Rack, Rayna's BFF and constant companion throughout the adventure, and Jazz, a human resources representative from Heroes United Life Group who delivers key updates with a suspiciously chipper corporate tone.

Real, Active Demo Development

Ahead of launch, the developers ran a final demo pass specifically to gather feedback, adding new portrait animations, a burn out mechanic, conversations with Hat Rack, camp newsletters, a completely overhauled user interface, and new difficulty settings based directly on returning player input.
