Halo: Campaign Evolved — Overview
Halo: Campaign Evolved is a full-scale remake of 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved, rebuilding the original 10-mission campaign with enhanced level design, updated cinematics, and 9 additional wieldable weapons from across the series (including the Energy Sword, Battle Rifle, and Needle Rifle). It adds a brand-new 3-mission prequel arc, Operation: Meteorite, following Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson one year before the original story, and supports up to 4-player online co-op plus 2-player split-screen on console. It launched July 28, 2026 — the series' first-ever appearance on PlayStation — with a stability-focused patch following two days later.
