How to Unlock Endless Ragnarok's Story Content and New Characters
This isn't a repeat of the Overview page -- it's a step-by-step look at what's actually required to access Endless Ragnarok's content, based on official materials since the DLC's July 9 launch.
The Real Prerequisite Chain
Don't expect to jump straight into Endless Ragnarok's story just by owning the DLC. You need to have completed the base game's main story and all prerequisite quests for The Tale of Bahamut's Rage on Proud difficulty first, then clear Conflux cycles 1 through 3 specifically -- only after both of those steps can you meet Seofon and Tweyen to actually begin the DLC questline.
Getting New Characters Without Grinding
Seofon, Tweyen, and Sandalphon can all be obtained for free simply by progressing through the game and meeting their specific unlock requirements, claiming them as Special Crewmate Cards from Siero's Knickknack Shop. Since these characters become available very early in the update relative to when you'll actually need them for endgame content, prioritize meeting their unlock conditions as soon as possible to give yourself real time to build and level them.
Treat the Conflux as Required, Not Optional
Since clearing Conflux cycles 1-3 is a genuine gate for the DLC's main story, don't treat this all-new solo mode as a side activity to dabble in later -- it's a required step on the direct path to Endless Ragnarok's actual content.
Chaos Quests Have Their Own Gate Too
Once you're into endgame content, remember Chaos Difficulty Tier Quests specifically require completing Chaos Key Quests first -- these aren't just harder difficulty labels, they're genuine prerequisite content in their own right.
