Physical Skill Still Matters

Since keeping the ball alive is confirmed to matter just as much as your roguelike build, don't neglect actual flipper and nudge control in favor of purely optimizing upgrades. A powerful build still needs real pinball execution to pay off.

Try Multiple Balls Before Committing

Since all 8 confirmed playable balls offer genuinely distinct passive mechanics and Rituals, spend time with several early on -- the right ball for your preferred playstyle isn't necessarily the first one you unlock.

Commit to a Build Direction Early

Since Glyphs, Blessings, and Curses total over 130 confirmed upgrades, decide on a general build direction a few drafts in rather than picking purely reactively -- coherent synergy is confirmed to matter more than raw individual upgrade power.

Learn Boss Bumpers Individually
