Chop Chop Inc. Tips & Tricks

Before Your First Chop

Try the free demo first -- it helped push the game past 75,000 and then 100,000 wishlists ahead of launch, and gives a real feel for the chop-craft-sell loop before committing to the full release.

Don't sell items you haven't confirmed you're done needing. Community feedback has flagged a real case of a player selling a camping tent, only to discover it was actually required later for building their house -- check crafting dependencies before liquidating your inventory for quick cash.

During a Run

Reinvest profits deliberately rather than randomly -- better tools and machines are what convert manual chopping into genuinely automated production lines, and rushing to buy the wrong upgrade first can slow that transition down.

Watch for special tree types (Stone, Metal, Electric) as you unlock new areas -- these aren't just reskinned wood, and likely gate specific furniture recipes you can't make with standard lumber alone.

Common Mistakes

  • Selling a component or crafted item without checking whether a later recipe or building objective needs it first.
  • Ignoring character strength/stamina upgrades in favor of pure production spending -- since both draw from the same bought-component pool, starving your own character's progression can slow down manual tasks you still need to do yourself.
  • Underestimating hazard/resource nodes like beehives -- some nodes may not behave the way you expect (including respawn behavior), so approach unfamiliar nodes cautiously rather than assuming they work like standard trees.
