Character Customization in Throne and Liberty

Character creation is divided into presets, face details, hair options, and broader customization settings, with granular sliders and numerical inputs for details as specific as eye spacing and jaw protrusion, plus bone structure, skin color, and makeup.

Presets are pre-designed templates covering different genders and styles that give you a fast starting point -- you can mix and match elements from multiple presets rather than sticking to just one.

A standout feature: you can upload a photo and the game uses facial recognition to generate a character resembling it, turning character creation into a much faster process if you want a likeness rather than building from scratch with sliders.

Only Human characters are currently playable, even though other races (Elf, Dwarf, and various beast-type races) appear as NPCs in the world -- a frequently requested feature is expanding playable race options to match what already exists visually in-game.
