How Breeding Works in Palworld

Breeding in Palworld unlocks once you hit level 19 and defeat the second Tower Boss duo, Lily and Lyleen — from there, the Breeding Ranch lets you pair two Pals to produce an egg with inherited traits.

Every breeding attempt needs Cake, made from Flour, Red Berries, Milk, an Egg, and Honey — so setting up a small production chain with Pals like Beegarde (honey) and Mozzarina (milk) early pays off across your whole breeding career.

Advanced players chain multiple breeding steps together — for example, pairing Relaxaurus Lux with Jormuntide Ignis to produce an Anubis — to reach strong late-game Pals without relying purely on rare high-level wild spawns.
