Character Customization in Palworld

Character creation covers 5 categories: Presets, Body, Face, Hair, and Voice -- Body lets you choose masculine or feminine base type plus skin color and adjustable torso/arm/leg size sliders, while Voice offers 6 options ranging from high to low pitch.

Unlike in early Early Access versions of the game (where appearance was locked in permanently at creation), the current game lets you revisit your look later -- the Antique Dresser, unlocked around Technology level 21-22, lets you freely re-customize your appearance mid-game.

You're left defenseless while using the Antique Dresser, so the game prompts a warning to only use it somewhere safe from enemies or base raids.

World name and character name still cannot be changed after starting a save, even though appearance itself now can be -- so choose those two carefully at creation, even though your look no longer has to be a permanent decision.

The Antique Dresser also lets you adjust how your equipped clothes and gear visually appear, separate from their actual stats -- useful if you want your armor's stats without its default look.
