Character Customization in Once Human

Once Human has a genuinely deep character creator with Presets, Face, Hair and Makeup, and Body tabs -- 24 presets for the Type I (masculine) body and 24 for Type II (feminine), each fully adjustable afterward with detailed sliders.

Body sliders cover head/shoulder, waist, hip, chest, and arms/legs measurements individually, and several of them affect your character's overall weight stat as a side effect -- worth checking each slider's weight impact as you adjust it, not just its visual effect.

One real limitation: the game doesn't allow a nude character model, since default undergarments are always present and cannot be removed, and Body Type (essentially gender) cannot be changed once chosen, even later through a full appearance reset.

You can import and export appearances as QR codes, and a large community of shared presets circulates on Reddit and Discord (plus dedicated fan sites) -- importing only transfers looks, not stats, inventory, or progress, so an imported appearance still starts completely fresh.

Changing your appearance after character creation costs a Chrysalis Token, used at a Floor Mirror you build in your base (20 Logs, 10 Glass) -- Chrysalis Tokens are a premium-currency-only item, meaning there is no free or in-game-currency way to change your look once you've committed to a scenario.
