Character Customization in Mistfall Hunter

Character creation starts with a set of base presets for both male and female avatars -- picking the right starting preset matters, since further cosmetic tweaks may not be able to fully override a poorly-matched base.

From that foundation, the editor opens into deeper physical customization categories for more granular personalization.

Preview coverage from PAX West 2025 described the creator as "much more robust than expected," even on a non-final build -- one journalist built a witch character modeled after a cosplaying actor at the event, then encountered an in-game NPC who was visibly the inspiration for that same look.

Class choice is completely separate from appearance -- you can freely pick any of the 6 classes regardless of which preset or customization choices you make at creation.
