Each of DragonSword: Awakening's 19 heroes wields a unique weapon tied to their kit rather than a shared equipment pool -- there's no swapping weapons between heroes, so picking a hero effectively is picking a weapon.

Theresia is considered the strongest hero in the current meta, though also the most technically demanding -- her kit toggles between Consecration and Celestial Verdict to apply bleed or stun, and the ceiling is very high once you master switching between them at the right moments.
