Don't rush your work shifts purely for the best cash grade -- studying the puzzle board and using Reset when things go wrong usually earns a comparable wage to a rushed clean solve, with far less frustration.

Managing Your Time and Economy

Your character's default walking speed is notably slow, closer to a light jog -- budget for buying speed-boost consumables from city vendors if the pace frustrates you, but remember that money also goes toward food and home decorations, so manage that economy deliberately rather than spending freely.

Approaching Resident Choices Carefully

Since Brain Meetings lock in major decisions affecting entire characters' fates, keep a short day-by-day note of optional conversations, Block Side discoveries, and choices you've made -- reconstructing a specific ending route late in a playthrough is much harder without one, and finishing your first run before using Chapter Select to explore alternate outcomes is the safest approach.

Don't Skip Too Many Work Puzzles

While skipping a puzzle board never traps your playthrough -- even a run that skips every single one still reaches an ending -- it does lower your work grade and slow your Resident Rating progression, so treat skipping as a genuine tradeoff rather than a free pass.

Common Mistakes

• Assuming this is a purely mechanical puzzle game -- the Block Side and resident relationships are just as central to the experience as the logic puzzles themselves.
