Don't Optimize Every Shift for Speed

Rushing your work puzzles for the fastest possible cash grade usually isn't worth the stress -- a careful, unhurried solve typically earns a comparable wage. Study each board and use Reset freely when a solution goes wrong, since the Factory timer that affects your wage falls very slowly.

Balance Your U-Points Economy

Since U-Points go toward both food and home decorations, and your default walking speed is genuinely slow without a purchased speed-boost consumable, decide early how much of your income you're willing to spend on convenience versus saving for other purchases.

Treat the Block Side as Essential, Not Optional

The hidden Block Side dimension is where D-topia's real secrets live -- don't treat trips there as occasional detours. Regularly checking for glitches and hidden details there is confirmed as a core part of understanding what's actually happening beneath the facility's curated surface.

Keep Notes on Resident Choices

Since Brain Meetings lock in decisions that can affect entire characters' fates, and the story pushes toward one of three distinct endings based on cumulative choices, keep a running note of what you've decided for each resident -- reconstructing your reasoning late in a playthrough, or when chasing a specific ending via Chapter Select, is much easier with a record than without one.

Finish Your First Run Before Rewinding

Since an ending can be shaped by several early resident decisions, finishing the story naturally on your first playthrough before using Chapter Select to explore alternate outcomes is the safer, less frustrating approach than trying to plan a specific ending from the start.
