Best Beginner Class in Chrono Odyssey (Pre-Launch Preview)

Chrono Odyssey hasn't launched yet, but its six confirmed classes are already detailed enough to plan around: Swordsman and Paladin lean tank, Sorcerer is the confirmed healer, and Ranger, Berserker, and Assassin round out the damage-dealer options.

For a first-time pick once the game is out, Swordsman is likely to be the most forgiving — it's built to balance attack and defense rather than demanding you commit fully to one role, and none of the classes are gender-locked so appearance won't limit your choice.

Since every class can swap between two of three available weapons mid-combat on a very short cooldown, your weapon loadout will matter as much as your class choice once you're actually playing.
