Do I need a microphone?
It's strongly recommended — proximity voice chat is central to how both sides play, though a ping system exists for players without one.
Does customization affect gameplay?
Only Gears (Active, Passive, Skill) affect gameplay -- clothing customization is purely cosmetic. Players can dye clothing colors, unlock outfit collections tied to social goals, and purchase or recycle custom items using an in-game currency called Pearls.
Did Carnival Hunt launch with both advertised Monsters?
Not initially -- at Early Access launch, one of the two advertised Monster characters was missing from the game for roughly 48 hours with no official developer communication about the issue, which drew criticism from early players. Both Monsters are confirmed available now.
