Can I change my class later?
Yes — talk to Milia, the Class Guide at the Pioneer Bureau, though switching costs resources and the Hero's Radiance item, plus a short quest.
Is it free to play?
Yes, with gacha-style cosmetic and convenience monetization.
Is character customization deep?
Yes for appearance -- face, hairstyle, body sliders, and outfit are all deeply customizable and can be revisited later via Visage Reforgers and Hairstyle Vouchers. Voice is the exception: it is tied to your body/model choice at creation with no independent selection or preview, and cannot be changed afterward -- a frequently reported community complaint when a character appearance and voice end up mismatched.
Is there an English voice dub?
No -- the game is Japanese voice-only with English subtitles. Community requests for an English dub have been made since the closed beta, but none has been added as of the current version.
Is this the same as the original Blue Protocol?
No -- the original Blue Protocol was developed by Bandai Namco and later shut down. Star Resonance is a separate revival developed by Shanghai Bokura Network Technology (a Tencent subsidiary), published by A Plus Japan, built in the same visual style but as its own distinct game.
